Format:Hardcover
I was looking for a photo book on English modern protest, what I got was an incredibly privileged visual pansophy of our local history . Adrian Arbib has emotively captured not only the Incredible county side of England before its pointless destruction of the 90's, but also framed its 'Hill people', not just 'the protesters' or 'the mob', in a sensitive and personal light at action, play and in pain. This book is 'The Wire' of English photo journalism. I recommend this book to anyone interested in modern history, photo journalism, social and environmental politics and protest, Robin Hood and WW1.......
