I footered about with guitar for a decade or two, before moving onto (tenor) banjo. Quite possibly you've been doing the same. Helpful Book and CD; if you know your way around a stringed instrument this may be a good short-cut introduction into some of the subtleties of the tenor banjo. It's also helpful if your looking to add to a local session. If you're a beginner it may be a wee bit too advanced - unless this kind of music runs in your veins. Tunes are in tab and standard notation. Worth noting there are two soloists showcased in the book. On a personal level I wasn't too inspired by the playing style of the second guy (although clearly very technically competent) - so for me only 25 solo's for irish tenor banjo...
