Great little charger 26 April 2007
I've Just bought this little charger, so I decided to see how long it would take to charge a nearly flat ipod battery. It completed the charge in just under an hour with enough to fully charge my phone too. By this time the Solio was only down to half charge on its internal battery, which means it had plenty left to charge my ipod again before needing to recharge the Solio. My one came with Wall charger with adaptors for most countrys, phone tips and a usb lead which can be used to charge you ipod or power anything which uses a usb to power it.

I bought my first Solio before they upgraded the retail pack to include all the extras. After receiving the new black pack after a quick and easy warranty replacement with Solio im very impressed.

This bit of kit will charge anything, as long as your device is smaller then a laptop your laughing. I do alot of travelling and have been able to charge:
Phones, GPS, Cameras, iPods, Nintendo DS, PDA, etc.

The included wall charger even comes with plug adapters for overseas fittings.
The only suggestion i can make is, when you do buy it and cant find a way to charge your device out of the box, go for the USB/12v car solution. Buying the extra proprietry tips are all well and good, but getting hold of usb/car cable is alot cheaper and quicker. Not to mention multi-pupose.

If your seriously interested in using this for a long term "survival" use i can recommend the following extras:

    Essential 11 Sep 2007

This is a great little gadget although a pricey one.
If you are going on holidays and need several mobile phone chargers and an ipod charger you will be better off with this solar charger and some connections.
I had mine for over a year and I have taken it with me to several trips in Central America and it worked just fine.
I also bought a rubber case made by the same company to protect it.
sadly is not compatible with many digital cameras and I hope they can sort that out for the next model.
