The Duragadget Hard Carry Case is reasonably roomy without being too bulky, plenty of space for spare batteries and SD cards, and robust enough to cope with being tossed in a rucksack etc. One of the zip pull tags broke almost imediately but a loop of nylon cord works even better !Duragadget Hard Carry case for Canon PowerShot A1100 / SX200 / and New A3100 IS Digital Camera

Tis case was recommended by Amazon as a good choice for the Canon A1100 IS Powershot Camera I was also purchasing. Whilst of good quality it was rather bulky, quite expensive and not the best choice, so I returned it for a refund.
Quiute honestly you are better off going to the photographic dept of Boots or Asda with your new camera to purchase a camera case.

This product was so good at protecting my daughter's camera whilst she travelled around the world, it probably carried on protecting the camera after it was stolen from her during an armed robbery on a bus in Vietnam. Whilst she fervently hopes that the miscreants die painfully, falling off the mountain she was on, she feels sure the camera will survive.
