We've had one of these for about 6 months and apart from not using it as much as we should, it's been really good. It's a well built machine and is notably more solid and sturdy than machines in the sub-£700 price bracket. It would be nice to have things like the dual runners but this has worked well for us and seems to get a good balance between price and features. I haven't really used many of the inbuilt programs, preferring to manually adjust the level and incline depending on how I am feeling at the time. Having an electronic incline is a really nice feature to have at home.

Building this took a while (I'd guess about 2 hours but this was a while ago now) and there are heavy parts but once the base is in place it's pretty much possible to do this with one person.

The couple of downsides that prevent me from giving this 5 stars are:
1) one of the holes for the screws wasn't threaded correctly. Not worth sending back for and it was possible to get the screw in
2) It started complaining about an error with the electronic height adjustment and the height adjustment stopped working. However a request to the Sole support team identified this quickly and the fix was a simple running of an auto-calibration routine. This hasn't been a problem since and I did later find this was detailed some way into the manual but it seems like this should be part of the setup routine.

After only 6 days of use the cross trainer has developed a fault that makes it un-useable. The roller under the right foot keeps coming off the slider and jamming under the trainer against the floor. I have emailed them about it tonight and will let you know the outcome but for now I'd have to advise against purchasing this machine..
