This book is a really fascinating read. It helps to clear some of the mystery around the 'emergency' in arabia, when the communist guerillas started their war of 'freedom' from colonial rule. Not only was the involvement of the SAS kept secret, but the fact that there was a real war going on was kept from the general public.

Not only does the book highlight the problems of colonial rule, but it concentrates on the fotunes of individual members of the 'regiment'. It shows the war from a personal point of view.

Fantastic read if you have read nay of the others in the series.
