The Solar Powered Lights Fairy Jar is a fabulous solar powered jar that captures rays of sunshine throughout the day and transforms them into a white glowing jar of dancing fairies at night. Made of glass, this magical Solar Powered Fairy Jar uses a high efficiency solar panel located in its lid, to store up the suns energy during the day. When darkness falls, the fairies then come out to play. Ok, so the fairies may actually be 6 clever LED lights which gently fade in and out to create a mesmerizing effect...but hey, we thought capturing real fairies would just be cruel!

OK I suppose, but they don't run for long on daylight charge. - Battery performance is much better to be honest.

Lovely fairy light 'bobs' 4 Mar 2012

This is lovely when it works but it needs lots of sun first, ideal in our conservatory. My four year old son is fascinated by it and goes to look for the fairies every night although he calls them 'light bobs'. It really is very magical, but you do need to be patient with it!

arrived promptly and does what it says....just about. The operation of the thing seems a little flakey and I've put in an additional battery, so my daughter is more impressed with it. I suspect it might come into its own in the spring and summer.
