This EP represents a significant new direction for The Bishops. With the addition of another Bishop brother the band have moved away from the 2 minute pop songs of their first two albums and moved towards something rather more complex and thoughtful, with extensive use of unconventional time signatures.
That's not to say that it's inaccessible though - first track and lead single "Nowhere to Run" still retains the appeal of their earlier work, but with several extra layers of orchestration which gives it a a full and lush sound. That approach continues throughout the whole EP. Definitely well worth a listen.
