5.0 out of 5 stars Joan Jett meets Stiff Little Fingers, 5 Feb 2009
By I. J. Yeeles "alieneyes" (London UK) - See all my reviews

I heard Peace Sex and Tea and Live for Rock as a backing track for an extreme sports programme, thought the band sounded good and waited for the credits to find out who the artist was. A couple of EP's later and this album is fantastic - I must have played it non stop for week. The lyrics are intelligent and the attitude matches the talent for once. All the tracks are good but for me Road to Paradise, Sympathetic Lies and Heres to You are absolute blinders. Fabulously crafted, excellently produced and great played as loud as you can. Can't wait to catch them live - I missed them in London in January.

This is music by a band that are paying their dues - no manufactured image here - and it shows in the end product

If you have Green Day, Joan Jett, Stiff Little Fingers or similar in your collection - listen to this - you'll love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whole album is terrific!., 1 Feb 2009
By A. S. Cheek "MR.WISHMORE" (ESSEX) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
As with many others,i first heard about TAT on the 'Chaos-the Dave Goodman story' Dvd.I then bought their 'peace, sex and tea' e.p.,and more recently their debut album 'Soho lights'.I had the enormous pleasure of seeing them at 'Underworld' in Camden in january ,myself hugging the monitor to keep myself off the stage, great gig!.

'Soho lights'ranks alongside 'Ramones','Never mind the bollocks heres the Sex pistols','Teenage depression'and'Motorhead' in the respect that EVERY TRACK IS A KILLER,buy it without delay!.
