5.0 out of 5 stars A much-recommended read... 2 July 2003
Format:Hardcover
Soho is a byword for buzzing; everything that is vibrant and exhilarating about London is encapsulated within Soho's boundaries.
As a resident of Soho I found this book intriguing and stimulating to read, and as a cook I found the recipes within the book great kitchen experimentation material, the fact that they're punctuated with fascinating side notes only makes this book more of a pleasure to read.

Interesting to read about Alistair. Saw TV programming featuring him last year. His recipes contain good hints and explanations not instructions only.

5.0 out of 5 stars great book 16 Nov 2010
Format:Hardcover
This book has a lot of great variety. Like all of Alastair Little's books the recipes are spot on and creative. I have cooked from this book in my cafe for years. I would recommend it highly, all the reviews are 5 star which speaks for its self. The fish and meat sections are outstanding and Little's comments and blurbs always make everything seem so much more accessible. Buying this book is a worthy addition to any cookbook collection.
