Soho is a byword for buzzing; everything that is vibrant and exhilarating about London is encapsulated within Soho's boundaries.
As a resident of Soho I found this book intriguing and stimulating to read, and as a cook I found the recipes within the book great kitchen experimentation material, the fact that they're punctuated with fascinating side notes only makes this book more of a pleasure to read.

If you like your cookery books to be more than just a list of recipes, then you are in for a wonderful treat. Alastair Little's Soho Cookery is full of magical recipes paired up with exquisite photography, wonderful tit-bits of information and lovely anecdotes about each item. The recipes cover a full range of dishes from the delightfully easy to the really challenging. There is something for everyone. If you are a gastronome then this is the book for you!

This is excellent,the cheese souffle was outstanding.I also made the pork fillet in dijon mustard cream sauce.It was a superb dinner i even bought some rare breed pork which made the dish.
