It was easy to set up and worked straight away so that's a real plus.
Unfortunately there is a problem with the SkypeMate software that comes with it and connects it to Skype. The problem is called memory leak. That is, the amount of your computer's memory (RAM) that SkypMate uses grows steadily as long as it is running. When you switch off and on again the memory use goes back to its initial low level. But once it starts growing it doesn't stop. You can see how much memory it is using if you look in Windows Task Manager. If your RAM is big enough you may not encounter serious problems provided you switch off fairly frequently. But it's a troubling bug and Yealink, the Chinese company who make both this phone and SkypeMate (Sogatel is just their UK outlet) have not fixed it though it has been known about for well over a year. There is a lot about it in the Skype Community forum. Search for "BUG: memory leak in SkypeMate". I'm using the latest current versions of both Skype and SkypeMate with Windows 7, but the problem has been reported for other versions and Windows Vista too.
A further point. The manual supplied, and also the identical online version, tells you how to set up Speed Dial numbers. In fact the latest version of Skype doesn't support this. There is a workaround (not too difficult) but it's another little nuisance.
