1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid this at all costs, 13 Feb 2008
I strongly urge anyone to avoid this product like the plague - not only did it crash my system beyond repair (I have no idea still what it did to my BIOS but nothing less than a full reinstall of everything got my PC up and running again) but when I contacted the software manufacturers for support they were unwilling (unable?) to help at all.

It also seems that this software simply records everything your child does online, and who among us has the time to sift through every single email/line of MSN chat/website they visit in the vain hope of catching an internet 'groomer' at work?! Something like NetNanny which is preventative rather than invasive in this way is a far better approach, and will by my next purchase instead - i only wish it had been my first!

1.0 out of 5 stars Babysitter? Baby spy. And not a very good one at that., 15 Feb 2008
I feel utterly mislead by this product.

The notion of a 'babysitter' is someone who is there to prevent bad things from happening. This software (which also caused big problems with my PC) simply spies on your children. As the previous reviewer said, you have to trawl through everything they've written, received, clicked on and seen to determine if there's a potential problem. It doesn't prevent them from visting any sites - which makes it largely redundant in my view.

My children would be livid if they thought I was tracking their every move - and rightly so. It would simply force them to keep even more communications/activities secret, which in turn would make it harder to monitor them. Not to mention create a nasty division in our family.

Worse than that, this software doesn't even work with Firefox which is our household's preferred browser! In fact, the only software it seems happy with is Microsoft's. Which is fairly limiting.

Add to all this, we have encountered multiple issues with our PC since installing the software. So all-in-all I say thumbs down. And please would someone tell me how to remove this surreptitiously entrenched software from my machine?
