I found this book easy to read and reassuringly authoritative. The author seems to like computers and even goes as far as printing the odd program.

However the book does not mention standard licences such as the GPL. Nor does it advise the reader how to draft one's own licence.

The book is expensive but it is a lot cheaper than hiring a lawyer specialising in Intellectual Property.
