Before you complete your tax return, Tax Code Checker will check your 1999 to 2001 payslips and grill you for more information. If you get stuck at any point you can click to the complementary Web site for plain English assistance. Finally, the program will automatically calculate your PAYE and National Insurance contributions. It's rare that a piece of software will actually put money in your pocket, but this looks like a shrewd investment.
