If you want a fun, absorbing experience play with this yourself! This cd-rom allows children of all ages to create a book, even those that can't type can use a microphone and 'speak' the story. The cd contains hundreds of pictures, all in easy to find catagories, borders, a drawing board to create and change existing pictures, music to add to each page and a wide variety of backgrounds. My three children (all under 6, but great for any age) have had hours on enjoyment with this, even printing out their own story books to give to friends and to accompany school projects. There is scope for a huge amount of creativity, and the books can been saved on file so each child can go back and change and read their own stories whenever they want. Even my husband and I have enjoyed playing with it! I would well recommend it to anybody who likes value for money and absorbing 'play' for their kids on a wet afternoon.

My son used this at School a few years ago and loved it! Took me a while to track it down but was worth it, even my five year old daughter really loved using it and found it easy enough to understand the interface to a certain extent.
It is now a rather old product now and required a little effort to get it working at home, you have to install the whole suite of software from the CD to get it going, this is to install the Storybook server system but it's not too bad if you follow the instructions. It is also a little 'buggy' due to it being for older Windows systems I guess but it worked on XP pretty well with only on crash in several hours of use, you can save your story every few minutes so this was not a major issue.

i once had the game i loved it. the best thing ever, i wish i still had it but i dont, i would be so happy to have one. but i dont have the money. im ony 11. bye the game. its GREAT
