I am so impressed with this product. I have a shorthaired moggy but wanted to keep his fur smooth and help him get rid of the dead fur so he doesn't get furballs. Regular brushes didn't seem to do that great a job, and I read in the RSPCA Complete Cat Care Manual that they recommend a rubber brush for grooming. This one is very reasonable, smells very rubbery, and is nice and bendy when you use it so it essentially feels like you are stroking. Teddy LOVED it. He let me brush him for ages and rolled onto both sides and his back so I could do his tummy (although truthfully at this point he decided to go for the love maul).
On first brushing we finished with a good fistful of fur in my lap! Amazing!

I have a very long haired cat who has 3 different layers of very thick fur but this brush did remove even the downy layer of fur which is sometimes a problem. The only downside is that i ended up covered in hair, so it would probably be best to use it outside.

Excellent brush. Gets a lot of hair, not as much as the furminator, but still extremely effective and my two cats are happy with it.

Our long haired kitty loves this brush. Its great for taking out the majority of lose fur, but you'll need a smaller / finer brush as well for doing under the tail etc. Read more
