I enjoy my hobby of making soft toy characters, so am always on the lookout for ideas. This book and its description offered to expand my range due to the "Realistic" in its title. It was advertised, on Amazon, as being used but in reasonable condition. On arrival I was surprised as it looked like new. The contents were in keeping with the title with well detailed procedures and patterns, the pictures of completed toys were realistic. I will enjoy many hours of developing the 26 animals for friends and family over and over many times. I am really pleased that I was not deterred by the price as it is exceptional value.
It was well packaged so no damage occurred while in the postal system. But posed no difficulties in gaining access. I can honestly say that all my dealings with Amazon have been first class and that they and their traders deserve the highest praise I can give.

This book lives up to expectations. It contains very clear patterns that can be photocopied (enlarged or reduced) to produce a range of well made animals. Instructions are clear and it is definately worth the money.

Just imagine how happy I was when I got my copy yesterday. Sometimes we don't believe the cover of a book, but Soft Animals A to Z is really great. I especially like the zebra, unicorn, and ostrich. My son asks me for the monkey. All of the 26 animal toys are lifelike. And you'll be surprised to see even xiphosura, armadillo, and iguana are included. Step-by-step illustrations are helpful. With this book, I could make great toys for my niece and nephew.

I searched for a long time in bookstores, libraries, and even online before I found the perfect patterns, and this book has them! Experimenting with materials and eye positioning to create different looks also gives you much more when it comes to your "collection." The only complaint I would have is that I can't find more books by the same author for other animals, 'coz I sure love the results from the patterns she has in this one. Really a wonderful book for anyone who wants to sew nice-looking stuff toys.

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in soft toy making! This book contains an animal for every skill level, all you need to know is basic sewing. The instructions are well thought out and very easy to use. There is also such a variety in animals that you are sure to find one to make for every member of your family. If you are looking for that perfect book to get you started, here it is!
