The Leading Brand in Home Carbonation

SodaStream and Soda-Club are the world’s leading brands for the simple, elegant and appealing preparation of carbonated soft drinks in millions of homes across the world. Our drinks makers, flavours, gas cylinders, and bottles are retailed in thousands of stores across markets in Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and Australia

SodaStream…a brand born in the UK!

The origins of the home carbonation market can be traced back to 1903 when Guy Gilbey (of the famous London Gin dynasty) invented the first SodaStream machine. This large machine was used by butlers in the country houses of British aristocrats. As the 20th Century unfolded, SodaStream machines got smaller and became fixtures in homes across the U.K. and throughout much of the world. Most parents today can remember how easy and fun it was to make soda or fizzy water at home, or at a friends’ home. Many of them still do!

Every year SodaStream provides over 600 million litres of carbonated beverage to more than 10 million households, making it one of the largest beverage companies in the world. We continue to grow as market leaders in both technological advancements and the quality of our products

The SodaStream system enables consumers to carbonate water and to flavour carbonated beverages at home as an alternative to purchasing pre-packed bottles or cans. This has many important benefits to the consumer, including :

Convenience: No need to carry heavy bottles from the store. The SodaStream system is simple to use and requires no batteries or electricity

Environmentally-Friendly: SodaStream is an "Active Green" solution that minimizes the huge eco-footprint caused by the manufacture, transport and waste of plastic bottles

Variety: SodaStream offers over 60 flavours worldwide to suit everyone’s taste. Regular, diet, natural, fruity flavours, ice tea, energy drinks, sport drinks, tonic and many more

Space Saver: No need to store bottles of beverages or empty bottles for recycling in your home

Personalisation: Make drinks just the way you love them… more bubbles, less bubbles, sweeter or lighter, even create your own flavour!

Family Fun: The system is quick and easy to use. It's fun for everyone and kids just love it!

Value for Money: Great savings compared to pre-packed carbonated water and beverages

SodaStream is represented in 41 countries and sells its products directly or through distributor partners in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States

Our products are available in more than 40,000 points of sale worldwide. These include home & electrical appliance stores, DIY, hypermarkets, supermarkets, department stores, convenience stores, specialty and "green" stores, water specialists & dealers, as well as online and in catalogues

Company headquarters are located in Israel and we have seven manufacturing facilities in Germany, Israel, Australia, South Africa and China. SodaStream has an intellectual property portfolio that includes 65 patents and 198 trademark registrations worldwide

SodaStream maintains strict quality assurance in design and production according to the highest international standards: ISO 9001:2000, TUV NORD & SVTI (EU, Switzerland), TPED and PED (EU), DOT (USA), GMP & HACCP, IFS, and "Der Grune Punkt" (Germany)

SodaStream Drinksmakers work by dispensing CO2 from a gas cylinder in the back of the drinks maker, into fresh tap water to make your sparkling drinks

How the ‘Gas Exchange’ System Works

When you buy your SodaStream drinks maker, a full CO2 gas cylinder is included in your starter pack. With this Drinksmaker pack, you receive a one-off ‘user licence’ which entitles you to use the gas cylinder throughout the life of your Drinksmaker. When the gas in the cylinder is used up, you exchange the empty cylinder for a full one, paying only the cost of the gas refill

SodaStream's gas cylinders are designed out of lightweight aluminium alloy or steel, and are easily inserted into our Drinksmaker

Product Description

PLEASE NOTE: This product is a brand new cylinder and includes a licence for you to use it with your SodaStream machine. We also have available in our store network exchange cylinders. These exchange cylinders are available by taking your old emply cylinder to the store and exchanging it for a re-filled one for a lower cost than a new cylinder. Unfortunately this is not available online. Please check directly with your local store availability of exchange cylinders before traveling, as not all our stores stock SodaStream lines.SodaStream drinks makers work by dispensing CO2 from a gas cylinder in the back of the drinks maker, into fresh tap water to make your sparkling drinks.
