I cannot recommend these highly enough. I've recommended them to all of my friends with babies.
I use them not only to keep socks on, but also to keep baby's feet in his baby-grows. He had a tendency to pull his feet into the body of a baby-grow, then to get frustrated when he couldn't stretch out. These have solved that problem completely.
They're such a simple item, but I would not be without them now, and will definitely be buying the next size up when he grows out of these.
Definitely a baby essential - just make sure you buy 2 pairs!

We bought these for my newborn son, he was born weighing just 5lb 8oz so all newborn socks practically fell off his feet! They can be a little fiddly but no more fiddly than putting on a newborn's socks anyway! My Son's sock-ons kept & still do keep his socks on firmly, the 0-6m sizes don't have that many colours available - light blue, dark blue & white, which is manageable, but the 6-12m have a wide range so I will be buying some more then!

I have used these on my son and my sister has used them on her daughters and we have found them invaluable!! the babies are still under six months with wee teeny feet and we don't find them to be tight at all - well tight enough to hold the socks on mind you! most socks are quite thick anyway (M&S my favourite) but there certainly haven't been any marks on their feet from them at all.
My son wears his everyday and we have never lost a sock - this from a baby who swing his legs at any opportunity! Would highly recommend.
