These were supposed to be a gift for my 18 year old niece, who has a size 5 foot and is 5'5" tall. But when I saw them I was extremely dubious that they would come anywhere near fitting, and so I got my 12 year old daughter to try them. They were just about long enough in the foot for her, but didn't come even close to knee-high; mid shin was as good as it got. And she complained that they felt both coarse and uncomfortably tight. Her toes were constricted, and her calves squeezed. They certainly are nice to look at, but in terms of sizing, comfort and quality they perform very badly next to cheap socks off the local market.
