Product Description

From the Publisher

After four years of huge popularity with students and teachers, Moore, Aiken and Chapman's brilliant Sociology for AS-level is now in its second edition.

Now in full-colour, with all the accessibility and interactive features that made the first edition so successful, the second edition comes in separate AQA and OCR volumes, targeted to the specific needs of each awarding body. For teachers, there are photocopiable Resource Packs to support each version, complete with answer guidance and mark schemes.

About the Author

Stephen Moore is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at Anglia Polytechnic University and an experienced author at both GCSE and A Level.

Dave Aiken is Senior Lecturer in Humanities and A-level Key Skills Co-ordinator at Hackney Community College. Steve Chapman is a teacher at Fulford School, York, and both he and Dave are Principal Examiners for OCR Sociology A-level and co-authors of the National Extension College’s Key Skills in Sociology Resource Pack.

A useful resource to accompany A2 students in their studies. Sometimes it is a pitched a little too low though always clear and easy to understand, on the whole this book certainly worth buying if you are doing A level sociology.
