I had an uncle who gained 8 England wartime caps, and I needed to know more about who he played with, and who against. This book is great; it answered most of my questions and I was amazed to find it available through Amazon. A great read for an elderly sooce fan, and a good reminder of the deprivations creatsd by the WarSoccer at War: The Complete Record of British Football and Footballers During the Second World War
