When an unexpected accident leaves a young boy motherless, he must travel from America to live with his estranged father in Scotland. There he finds himself teaming up with a scientifically enhanced soccer-playing dog that has escaped from the evil scientists who designed him for more nefarious means. Terrible terrible terrible movie! However, my football-mad 6- and 7- year old boys loved it, and so did my 6-year old daughter who can't stand football.
Buy if you want to see the children amused. Probably time to sort out that cupboard/clean the bathroom/sort the laundry though, while they're watching it...

Soccer dog is the film we have been waitng for a life time.then two come along and were chasing our tails (pun intended).a film where lassie meets escape to victory.he gets into a few rough (pun intended) situations and he barks up the wrong tree (pun intended) every now and then and gets into a spot of trouble(pun intended) again and again but he always finds his way home.(pun not intended).heres one dog who could easily play for blackburn rovers or dogenham and redbridge.heres one film which wont be put in the dog house.you would be barking mad not to go see it

There have been some terrible football films.
There have been some dreadful animal films.
There have been some awful 'Scottish' films.

Soccer Dog: European Cup is a contender for the worst of all three categories.

The kids loved it.

This film, whilst being a bit naff, is still a good film for all the family to watch & enjoy - who doesn't like seeing a sweet little dog help a team of rough & ready scotsmen to win a football match?
