This book is the best Atlas ever, i'm a first year medic and although the labels are in Latin it doesn't bother me as the Medical School i am in (Prague) has Latin and Greek compulsory so i can understand labels in latin this is the only atlas of anatomy you'll ever need!

The first volume comes with small guide for origin and insertion of muscles and nerves etc... which makes life just easy

also the note only the labels on the diagrams are in Latin but everything else like the text is in English.

Volume 1 has one of the best Neuro-Anatomy sections in my opinion!

Illustration Better than Netter's - but words in LATIN 6 Mar. 2008
By B. stout - Published on
The 2 Volume set is a level above Netter's IMHO. However, the labels are in latin which all but makes the book frustrating at best and almost worthless at worst. No one speaks Latin in american hospitals and though the words are similar --they are not english. I wish I could have it in ENGLISH--it would be a 5 star product!!
