I have long wanted to see this series again and it was well worth the wait! The humour has not dated at all. Every character is as funny, real and surreal at the same time, as I remember them. From the sublime to the ridiculous, this DVD is highly recommended to all with a slightly zany sense of humour and a well honed sense of irony!

I was a bit apprehensive about buying this DVD as I watched Soap in the late 70s and loved it - would it stand the test of time? The answer is a great big resounding YES!
It is stillvery funny, the only trouble is that some real soaps have plots s ridiculous as this now - but Soap is funy.
A recomended buy.

I remember watching this when I was in primary school, it's a program I've always wanted to see again. The humour hasn't dated at all and it has some great characters in it, The major and Benson being my favourates and at £17 for 25 episodes it's a bargain.
