This adds to my ever growing Tim Minchin collection and has been worth ever penny and more.
The guy is genuinely funny, proper laugh until it hurts.
The musical ability he has gives you goosebumps and then goosebumps on your goosebumps!
THE WORLD NEEDS MORE TIM MINCHIN!

If you like Tim, you'll know exactly what to expect. If you've never seen him before, and are a fan of good music and dark humour, then give him a try and get the tissues ready.

Best buy of the year, without a doubt!
Funny and critical without the rudeness of other comedians. Beautiful songs and a fantastic bit about Darwin's theory of Evolution.
Perfect Christmas gift for family and friends.

There aren't many comics who garner praise from Everyone, but here's one. Everything he does is pretty much, totally unanimously agreed upon, perfection. All his views seem to be correct, in line with modern rational thinking, his musical ability is perfect and he even does coarse humour with an air of intelligence (albeit a modest, non-imposing intelligence).

I haven't met anyone who, when they encountered Tim, said: this is not for me.

In 2008 and '09, Australia brought Britain two gems, Tim and Summer Heights High.
Both should be viewed as something Comedy can pretend not to want to imitate and loathe with jealousy.

After Tim Minchin won Best New Comer award at the Edinburgh Festival, Time Out magazine wrote "Take out a second mortgage, sell the car, and put the money on the safest bet you'll ever make in this uncertain world: that Tim Minchin will be the next big thing in musical comedy". Three years on from that performance Tim has enhanced and polished his performance until it glitters. If you like your comedy intelligent with thought provoking insights, pushing every boundary, and extra-ordinary musical talent, you'll love it and enjoy it more with repeated viewings. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I think the fact that he is an amazing self taught pianist and brilliant song writer is much overlooked. As well as being highly talented he is hilarious! His songs are offensive, vulgar and in his own words "stupid" and that's why I love him! Definitely not for the easily offended but for everyone else, he will have you laughing out loud. This DVD in my opinion includes some of his best performances, will never get bored of watching.

I bought this after seeing Tim Minchin on channel 4 one night and realising that TV can still be amusing and worthwhile. Tim Minchin can play a piano like you wouldn't believe and his comedy songs and stand-up are thoughtful and provoking. Religious viewers may not enjoy his ridiculing of the more "magicky" belief systems but too bad, I don't think they're his target market anyway...

I first sore Tim on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and from when they play the game next line I was a fan. I went on to youtube to see if I could find the song it was "If I didn't have you" (one of his best in my opinion) I think I have how seam all of his videos on Youtube, none of my friends new who he is. I told them he is sort of like Bill Bailey. He was the headline at Leeds fest this year on Saturday I stupidly went on Friday so all my friends sore him and I didn't that's why I was so happy my brother got me tickets to see him live in Bradford. it will always be the best present he has or will ever get me!
