This compact booklet tackles the serious subject of childhood mental illnesses - ranging from minor to severe - clearly and in depth without equivocation.Published in collaboration with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, it describes all levels of treatment, both psychological and pharmacological in a sympathetic and clear way, helpful to both children, their parents (and their doctors too) Strongly recommended.

I purchased this book for some friends who are struggling with their young daughter and her depression. As a health care professional I found it rather light and without depth, but to my pleasure they found it helpful and explanatory.
