Positivity! 15 Dec 2006
Format:Audio CD
I can only echo the sentiments of the previous reviewers. This is a tremendous album. What sets it apart from Babyshambles et al, however (aside from the killer tunes!), is the positive sentiment running through all the songs - things will be ok, the kids are alright, you can make it, things will turn out fine - even when dealing with melancholy subjects (cf 'Nothing For The Kids'). This music wears its heart on its sleeve! Reminds me of the Clash in that regard. Good effort, boys!

Excellent debut 17 Nov 2006
Format:Audio CD
Bought this album solely on the strength of hearing Generator on XFM one evening. Fantastic, catchy tunes and a really promising debut. Has unfortunately been given the kiss of death as NME have raved about it but for once, believe the hype. Not a bad track on the album and deserves to be given the same airplay as the Fratellis etc.

IT'S GREAT OF THEM TO RELLEASE THESE RARE TRACKS FROM THE HOLLOWAYS VAST REPERTOIRE OF B-SIDES THAT SO MANY OF US MISSED OUT ON OR JUST DIDN'T HAVE THE MEANS TO PLAY THE VIYNLS!!!

Rubbish
Generator is fun and catchy. Other wise over-rated. Lyrics are quite teenage and rhyme. Avoid it if you can.
