They are one of the best quality bands around - why has no-one heard of them? Everclear combine a brilliant mix of guitar riffs and drumwork with Art Alexakis unrivalled lyric writing skills to produce tuneful and meaningful music that is impossible to get out of your head. The title track, 'normal like you' and 'amphetamine' are my favourites but all of the songs are superb. If you are just getting into Everclear, this album is the best to start off with, as it is just so damn enjoyable to listen to! The tunes just keep coming and you soon find yourself singing the songs all the time. Buy this record - and see why Everclear deserve to be recognised up there with the best of them.

Format:Audio CD
This is by far one of Everclear's best cd's! It's not too poppy like vol 1 it's great! it has hits like "i will buy you a new life", "father of mine" and "everything to everyone". One hit wonder, amphetamine, so much for the afterglow, normal like you and sunflowers make this cd great. Not just to be purchased by die hard everclear fans but by anyone who wants a good alternative cd

Hugely underrated 13 Nov 2003
Format:Audio CD
What can I say? Everclear are such a uniqe, amazing and insightful band. i don't know how to classify them. Punk rock i suppose. But dont get me wrong they are undoubtedly one of the greatest and underrated bands out there. They deserve to rake in millions of cash, like some other rubbish bands and singers out there. Anyway, let me start of by saying, Art alexakis is an amazing singer and has great meaning in his lyrics. Each song on the album is great. I love 'so much for the afterglow' because its just an amazing intro track. The first 40 secs are humming/ and chants of ' ooohs and ahhhs' then cuts in to heavy but not that heavy guitar riffs that sound great. Other songs like 'Father of mine' and 'I will buy you a new life' are so insightful and meaningful-i know i use that word too much!!Other songs like 'amphetamine' and 'normal like you' are great stand out tracks, that you can sing along to. Everclear are a really meaningful punk - band, an grown-up punk band that expresses common day issuses - not singing about skateboarding and being dumped by ur girlfriend. Great guitar riffs + great vocals + great lyrics = amazing album. Other good tracks are 'sunflowers' and 'white men in black suits'. PLEASE I BEG YOU. GO AND BUY THIS ALBUM. ANY MUSIC LISTENER WITH GREAT TASTE WILL ADORE THIS QUALITY! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! If you like 'em and I know you will, try out a band called 'Lit'. The album is ' Atomic ' Its amazing too
