5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Film, Definitely Worth Seeing! 13 Jun 2012
By A.S.
Format:DVD
'So Hard to Forget' is about a middle aged teacher who, after a painful break up, ends up on the coast living with two friends. The arrival of one of their cousin's Helena sparks a new chance at love for Julia, who had otherwise resigned herself to being alone forever. I personally found the story poignant and one which is rarely looked at... being able to fall in love again, and the misconception that it can only happen once. The story was beautiful and the scenery just gorgeous, I thought it really set the mood for the somber story which felt so real and true. Would definitely recommend this!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it 21 July 2012
Format:DVD
Great movie. Actors were awesome. Kinda sad at first but honest about breakup feelings. Funny parts too. And lovely lesbian couple. Spoiler alert: some people have said it's not a happy ending but I think it is ambiguous enough to leave their relationship open to possibilities. And I'm a romantic so I always assume they will find each other in the end even if we don't get to see it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!! 1 July 2012
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Recently saw this film and thought that this was a fabulous, thought-provoking tale of a woman finding a way to get over the end of a long relationship. The actress playing the main part was fabulous, her pain was brilliantly portrayed, and the cast surrounding her were brilliant too. The film, could have ended not as abruptly as it did, but you can't have everything.
