For you and the baby's sake please don't buy this product. However you put it on the baby it will consistently falsely alarm, keeping the little one and parents awake. We tried over several nights putting the device and the baby in varying positions but it would alarm every couple of hours. Now this alarm suggests your baby is no longer breathing, so being woken up in the belief that your baby is near death is genuinely harrowing and having it occur multiple times makes for broken nerves. We also noticed it tries to 'resuscitate' the baby by applying a vibration before it audibly alarms. We noticed this fairly dramatic vibration triggering quite regularly (several times every hour), waking the baby up if he had actually managed to sleep between false alarms. Plus, I'm really not sure what medical condition the Snuza is hoping to fix through this vibro-therapy, apart from preventing the baby sleeping and generally aggravating him?
If like us, you have mild-to-severe OCD about your little one I would heartily recommend looking elsewhere.
