Stay on: Under or over coat sleeves. Long stretchy arm section keeps mitten in place. Keep warm: Best merino wool holds in warm air. Arm, hand and fingers are together so stay warmer. Just couldn't get my 15-month old girls to keep any gloves on. Then they got these (I actually got one bee and one ladybird set, and give each twin one of each) and they actively ask to wear them. Lovely quality, bright colours and lots of fun. Quite tough for them to take off by themselves once they have both on, although the joy of these is that they don't want to take them off.

I bought these for my son who has just turned 2. I was fed up with his 'normal mittens' coming off all the time in the cold weather. These are really good. There is no faffing around looking where to put a thumb and they stay on. I saw a mother recently trying to put on normal gloves on a toddler around the same age. It took her about 5 minutes.....why? These are perfect and my son loves them shouting Bee and ZZZZ all the time.

These gloves are great. DD has had them all winter and has never once complained about putting them on and only wants to take them off when her coat comes off. She holds out her hands for you to put them on and smiles at them with glee afterwards. Favourite people even get offered the chance to kiss the bee hands. The cuffs are long and knitted and stay on really well so even with a bit of tugging from a 15 month old they still do not come off. As a fashion accessory they often dont match her outfit and are not discrete ! but I don't care if her hands are warm, which they always are. With the mitten style glove she can't hold other small toys at the same time but is always happy to let go of the object she has in favour of the bee mits. She has no problem holding onto the handles of a trike with gloves on. A great buy.
