Format: Paperback
....in gentle rhyming text.

From the author of the best-selling 'I Love You, Sleepyhead', this is another suitably appropriate winding down for bedtime title!

Endearing paperback covers open to 26 high quality pages in the popular 2-page spread format.

Example of text:

'The sun paints the sky
a warm, glowing red.
It's time to stop playing,
it's time for bed....

With tired, drooping necks
giraffe flop to the ground.
Sheltered and watched over.
Safe and sound..... '

.....as we go on to meet a variety of animals in the process of settling down for a cosy night, as the sun sets.

Beautifully illustrated in pastels throughout.

This is a fantastically illustrated book with a beautiful rhyming story. Excellent use of language providing descriptions of the bed time of wild animals. The hard back version is a good size and not too heavy to hold. Pages are good size for little hands to turn. Cant recommend this book enough. A real pleasure to read and look at.

A friend brought this book for my son's first birthday, he's now coming up to 2 yrs old and we're still reading it! The rhymes are lovely and the pictures are great, we can't go to bed without it.

A friend lent us their copy and we liked it so much we had to buy it! Beautiful illustrations set off with a gentle rhyming story about the animals going to bed - my 18month old son likes this to be the last book before bedtime, he points out all the animals as they settle down to sleep has his "big hippo hug" and then as all the animals are asleep is happy to go to bed himself. Thorough;y recommended - you won't be disappointed.

I love this going-to-sleep book, so do my girls. They are enchanted by the illustrations (which are colourful and beautiful) and never get bored with turning the pages. Gorgeous.

My daughter (14 months) loves this bedtime story. The illustrations are lovely and the story tells of the jungle animals all beginning to get sleepy and settle down for the night. Our favourite page is the monkeys who are always asking for 5 minutes more play time as it isn't dark yet. The shape of things to come no doubt. The book is a board book but is of good quality and doesn't look like it would deteriorate too much with "use" by little ones. Overall a great book for bedtime as it calms the little one down slowly and sets them up great for going to sleep.
