This was my favourite book as a child and I am so pleased to have found it as my original ended up being ripped in half. Full of lots a adventure, I remember the wonderful illustrations of Sir Thomas Magpies bedroom and all the fancy boots that get stolen. Cannot wait read it again even though I am 24!

"Snuff" a sweet tribute to creative problem solving 12 Dec. 2014
By Anne Boynton - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Snuff is one of the longer, more complicated of the Quentin Blake stories included in the 10 paperback collection. It is set in medieval England, but it is accessible to a modern child -- no boring historical factoids here. "Snuff" is a would be knight who every child can relate to, trying hard but often failing to meet adult expectations. Fortunately, Snuff is also creative and brave and saves the day in the end. A heartening story for children that failure can be transformed into success and you don't have to be "big" to be a hero.
EVERY child should have a copy. Beautiful writing. 21 Sept. 2014

Please, PLEASE reprint this. My very favourite book. I think in the whole very wide world. Funny, cute, and not too easy and repetitive. Perfect for bedtime reading.

It's all about a skinny page named Snuff who wants to be a knight. But he's always making mistakes! This is the story of how he catches the Four Horrible Boot Thieves and becomes a hero!
