5.0 out of 5 stars Captures Classic Disney 18 Jun 2001
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Buy the Disney Read-Aloud story books. These books are excellent for all ages. I have been reading the Disney Read-Aloud story books to my daughter ever since she was one year old. She is now three and loves to thumb through the pages of oversized and gorgeous colorful pictures, all just as perfectly animated as the original film.
The Read-Aloud collection is excellent for bedtime story telling. Each page is illustrated with big, bright, colorful pictures, with minimized text on each page (not like some books with two or three paragraphs of reading per page). This together with the illustrations keeps the child's interest at a peak throughout the entire story.
I have six of the Read-Aloud books because none of the other Disney books (Little Golden Books or otherwise) compare in my opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Erikas Review 31 Oct 2002
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
I thought that Walt Disney's "Snow white and the seven dwarfs" was a great book for children
everywhere. Its the classic story of Snow White coming and staying with the seven adorable dwarfs, who all have
great personalities of their own. I think that children would love to read this book over and over again. Its
definitely a book that children will remember for a very long time. The thing about this book that makes it so great
is the magnificent ending. So I recommend this book to children, and maybe even adults, because its just one of
them books that makes you smile when you read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Read (Over and Over Again) 12 Jun 2002
By Allison Scherer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
We had this book and lost it on a return airplane trip from Grandma and Grandpa's house. My almost four-year-old depended on this book as a bedtime story (and sometimes she'd get me to read it in the morning). Needless to say, she was quite sad about losing the book. We've borrowed it from the library, but that only satisfies until you have to return it. This book will be one of her birthday presents. She just loves the story and other versions will not satisfy her. Since she has memorized this version, other versions are either too short or skip over some of the best parts. The illustrations are excellent and the text is appropriate for young children (the evil queen is not too scary). Of course, Snow White is one of the best Disney stories and if you have the video, this book is an excellent complement because it follows the storyline very closely.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's a book for KIDS! 4 Dec 2001
By Robert M. Freedman - Published on Amazon.com
The artwork reproduced in this book is of the ultra-high quality and distinctive style expected of vintage Disney Studios products. The paper and binding should survive years of use. The storyline is typical fairy tale stuff and serves its purpose well. The text in this book is not an example of story-telling genius, but most adults, when reading it to children, will be able to ad lib subtle improvements.Bottom line: Get it for the pictures!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great story 31 Oct 2002
By "brucelee688" - Published on Amazon.com
I thought that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was a great book for kids. Its one of those books that kids love and read over and over again. The story teaches kids not to take food or anything from strangers even the least expected person. The story takes place in castle but when the queen orders Snow White to be killed she runs away into the forest. But, when the queen finds out she changes her identity and goes after her. Join Snow White in this dangerous and fun filled adventure as she discovers the beauty of the forest.
