Snow socks are known to work virtually as well as snow chains and out perform snow tires, these are the easiest and cheapest way to ensure when the snow really falls, you keep going. First time we tried these out we were genuinely amazed at just how well they work. They allow your wheels to grip the snow like magic and effortlessly pull you over the white stuff. They work on the same principle as cotton gloves around a snowball, the cotton just soaks up any water, letting the snow stick to it.

- Only a very low wheel clearance required, great for low profile tires where you'd have trouble fitting snow chains.
- Fits in only 2 minutes. Made with long lasting elastic, you just pull them over the top of your drive wheels, fit them all around and then roll your car forward about 3 feet to pull it over the rest of the wheel.
- Self aligning. Our snow socks naturally align themselves as you set off.
- Machine washable.
- Free returns/exchanges (within 14 days), providing they are returned in an asnew condition. We don't charge a hidden fee incase you change your mind or order the wrong size, although you will have to pay return postage.

Please consider when using:
- Do not exceed 30mph / 50kph
- Use on drive wheels (front wheels for most cars, rear ones for BMWs, performance etc.) - for 4x4s use on front wheels.
- Do not use on bare roads, you might get away with it for patches, but just remember they will scrub down the fabric. Providing you only use them on snow or ice, these will give you a long time of use.

These worked really well last year getting me up my hill, had to use them 5 days a week for about 2 weeks. After washing them they showed very little wear. Seller shipped quickly, although it took a bit longer to arrive with the snow. Good quality product, good communication from seller. Would recommend.

Excellent service from these guys. The snow socks for tyres arrived 2 days after ordering. There's no snow yet to test them out but I know they work having had them before. If you're looking for a reliable product from a reliable company at a pretty funky price then look no further.

Good for snow, not good on ice,

Some reviews on this product are incredibly non-specific and over positive - are they employees?! Maybe not...Anyway, I have a rear-wheel drive sports car that is useless in snow, it really has a lot of trouble driving on the flat, even in a very thin layer of snow. I've used these for the first time this year (2012) after previous snow problems and they really did work. They got me out of 4 inch-deep snow without any drama when I was stranded. I fitted them really easily and just drove off (slowly) like the snow wasn't there. I then got stranded on frozen slush the next morning on a driveway and I must say that they are useless on ice - the wheels just spin round like usual. Basically, these (or an equivalent) are essential if you have a rear wheel drive car and plan to use it in the snow.
