Great Story and Artwork,

This is a wonderful little book! It is the story of a little bear who is lost in the woods. He decides to make a snow bear to comfort him until his mother can find him. Soon all kinds of different animals are coming out of the woods and foliage to help little bear. It is a great story with absolutely wonderful illustrations. It is a pleasure to read and look at.

The embossing technique, Maggie Kneen's illustrations and a lovely story make this a truly beautiful book. One of my five year olds and my favorite!

This book is fantastic. The illustrations are beyond beautiful, and the story is so cute.This book tells the story of a little polar bear cub searching for his mother. He gets all of his animal friends, including a fox, rabbit, owl, duck, and more to help him build a mother out of snow. Soon all of his friends have to go home and he is alone, but in the end his mother finds him and he's happy again. This is one of those wonderful books that you can read to your child at bedtime when they just want to hear the sound of your voice. there is nothing too exciting going on, you can just have your child close their eyes, you can stroke their hair, and read this sweet story. OR, during the day, you can animate all of the animals' voices and have the child touch the great tactile pages. It is a great book!

This book is one of my 3 year old daughter's favorites. It has a wonderful story about a little bear searching for his mom, and describes how he and his woodland friends make a substitute snow mom for the night. Beautiful story (For anyone familiar with Chinaberry, I'm sure we'll see this book offered by them soon, it is 'that' quality of a book)
