I'm afraid this is a bad book for two reasons.
The first is that it is very badly put together, the cardinal sin of a splash across a double page sees a speech bubble vanish in to the crease of the book. Elsewhere the margins are well off so bits of speech bubble or artwork drop off the edge of the page, it's very annoying.
The main reason I disliked this book was the plot though. I didn't have high hopes going in but as someone with a Colombian background I was willing to give this story a try to see if if it did say anything new or original. Alas it was a bog standard drug dealers turf war which despite the blurb on the back cover was set in Miami not Bogota. The only "twist" was that the main protagonist was the daughter of the Drugs Lord and who went around trying to knife and shoot people in order to impress Daddy but ends up messing up big time. Yawn.
