    5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant 21 Mar. 2013
    Platform for Display:PlayStation 3
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Having played the first SGW was pleased to hear when there was going to be a SGW2.
Single player is an improvement from the first game, a bit more fast paced than i personally prefer, i like to take my time rather than rushing through maps, but you can still do this, your spotter will wait for you at the checks.

The Overlook missions are good, Protecting the Ground Team as the move through the map from over a 1000m away.
Giving you some great long shots.

Multiplayer is pretty much the same as SGW1 but with the ability to go fully Prone. which improves your ability to hide into some great spots.
Grenades have been left out this time, which to be honest isn't a problem, although clay mores or trip wires would of been nice.
The only annoying thing is when you get players running around with the pistol shooting like there playing COD, if you wanna do that then play COD.

Would like to see a few added features to Multiplayer, i.e Join friends currently playing and different game modes.

yes there are only 2 maps currently playable but the is Some DLC coming at the end of the month (March) which will
add 2 more maps and an extra game mode. Also it will add an Extra single player mission to the game.
This DLC is Said to be FREE which is a Bonus :)

To Sum up I think there will be a divide on this game just like with Marmite.
I for one love it, if your into sniping then you'll love it too, lets face it there isn't much choice out there for solely sniper gameplay!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 - In the Crosshairs 25 April 2013
    Platform for Display:PlayStation 3
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I haven't reviewed anything in a while, I haven't felt the need to, but with Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 getting such divided opinion I feel compelled to add my 2 pence worth on the game.

The first thing you must consider when deciding to buy this game is whether or not you enjoy sniping. If laying in a dark damp ditch for several minutes waiting for your "mark" to wander off to that perfect secluded spot from where you can snipe him is not your bag you will not enjoy this game. This is not your standard first person shooter. Throughout the entirety of the game you are armed with nothing but your sniper rifle and a rather pathetic excuse of a silenced pistol. In a full on fire-fight you stand precisely 0% of success. This is a game about staying in the shadows and picking off your enemies one by one.

And its there where much of the enjoyment from this game comes from. More often than not you are accompanied through missions by your "spotter". It is his responsibility to scan the environment and advise which of your targets is the largest threat at that particular moment and direct you to take him down. When done right this is a hugely rewarding experience. One by one your spotter will tell you which enemy to take out until the area is clear. If you follow his instructions to the tee you will take everyone down without being spotted and it makes you feel like a total sniping machine. You can deviate from the spotters routine but more often than not it results in all hell breaking loose and I wouldn't advise it.

I've knocked a star off the review for the AI, both friend and foe. There are moments in this game where your spotter tells you to shoot one enemy while he handles the other.

    4.0 out of 5 stars Sniper 2 5 Sept. 2014

A good game.... purely as a sniper. You DO have to take each target in the correct order, as in real life I guess, so as not to give yourself away. Taking the bad guys out that will not be seen by others near bye. If you dont its certain death. At middle level you do get an aiming hint which makes each shot fairly easy with a little patients and steady hand but on hard level you have to make allowances for wind direction and bullet path drop. This I found more challenging BUT there were variations in consistency in the allowance made for the same wind speed etc.

    1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother 1 Jun. 2013
    Platform for Display:PlayStation 3
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
Don't bother with this game. It is SHORT, really short, you could finish it in less than an afternoon. Three 'Acts' comprising of ten sections and your finished. There is life in the multiplayer but this is yet another game that has been compromised in the name of 'on-line'/Multiplayer rather than producing a single player game with adequate content. They then have the nerve of expecting you to pay out another £7.99 for a DLC mission. CI Games give your games some content and worthwhile single player life with longer legs. Wait for this in the bargain bin but don't pay more than £5.99 at most. What a con.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ghost Warrior 12 Dec. 2014

Much better game than the first one. Was very nervous about playing it as I didn't exactly enjoy it. Some very nice locale's and sniping feels nice as well. Multiplayer is basically either 1v1 or TDM but the online is dead. You can however do the trophies in private matches so if you're a trophy hunter don't worry.
