-It is a fun game at times
-the bullet cam kills are cool
    -Fairly fast paced
-The music was lively and relevant

-The storyline was uninspired American nonsense, they may as well have cut out the boring tripe cutscenes and let me get on with the massacre
-The game was very short, I think I completed this game in under 4 hours. Paying this kind of money for a game I expect 15 hours+ of decent gaming.
-Aside from the game being short it also has limited replayability aside from increasing the difficulty. The game doesn't really let you take different approaches except for 'stealth' or 'fight through', but the fight through option is more of what happens if you don't play the level correctly, so kind of pointless.

If you can get this game second hand and have nothing better else to do, then this game will offer you a few hours of mild entertainment.

Sniper Ghost warrior is a potentially good idea. I was expecting a cod4 "All Ghillied up Experience" However it is not. There are no "Fun" parts in this game. When enemies spot you it is poor as it shows you how much they see you which slowly increases even when prone in bushes with a ghillie suit, your spotter although stealthy in parts just runs through most of the map without checking corners which makes you feel like "Whats the point". The clear areas points out every target to shoot in the same order, you cannot go about it in a different way at all! Enemies are just fodder in your path. The game does not pull you in at all. Apart from the main character the voice acting is awful. Even though it uses cry engine 3 the graphics are not as great as crysis 3. You cannot pick up enemy weapons unless they are sniper rifles. The levels are so linier that you wont want to play the game again. The ballistics system is good, however there is no science or logical way to interpret the wind indicator. If not on the hardest settings all the enemies appear on your mini map and have arrows above their heads so you have no excuse not to mess up. Being able to shoot grenades on enemies hips to kill multiple enemies is a good feature and also the knife kills are ok.
Multiplay is just a sniper battle with a large learning curve.

Over all not a great game. Just make a Cod4 game from where the sniping mission finished. Or remake cod 4 with better balistics systems, lose the kill streaks and focus on a skill multiplayer game. :P

I Just received Sniper 2 Ghost Warrior limited Edition PC in the post from Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 - Limited Edition (PC DVD) It was originally suspose to arrive on the 3rd of January but it was put back. It was released last thursday the 14th of March. Anyway its uses the steam system, so stick in the cdkey into steam. It will you the most recent version of the game. The downloading took me around 1.5hrs. The only thing different between the standard version and this version is that you get an extra gun & play as Anderson (spotter in the single game) to use in the multiplayer mode.

On to the game. It uses the CryENGINE3 I found the graphics not much different from the previous version. It look good-ish but i cant help thinking why did they delay the game. (Official reason is to improve the graphics) I haven't noticed any real difference between this game and the previous version.

The gameplay is quite similar as well. There is the issue of forced to follow your spotter everywere, ie I cant seem to be able or allowed to take an alternate route to a point on the map. Now since I've only played about 40 minutes of it yet that may change. The AI is a bit dumber, I could about 10 meters away from them, shoot them and their partner in crime wouldn't be the wiser. At least with the last game the AI would wander over to your direction hoping to find you. The sniping itself is better, you halfto to be aware of the wind direction and its strength. It comes with night ops mode which I have only used once so far. On a whole the single player so far is the same as the previous version. I will continue to play it to the end.

Here's a quick summary for those thinking of buying this:
    - Stunning graphics with more detail than Sniper 1.
    - Atmospheric sound with no comedic noises of Sniper 1.
    - Out of place music that has to be turned down or off.
    - Predictable AI that is nearly as bad as Sniper 1.
    - It's the sniper mission from Call Of Duty 4 (Modern Warfare) - dating back to 2007! but repeated over and over again.
    - Extremely linear and scripted. Wander slightly off track and get insta-killed within 6 seconds - and restart the level!
    - Inadequate checkpoints! No save or load option - so worse than Sniper 1. If you find a mission difficult and die you'll find yourself playing the same sequence (including the intro movie that can't be skipped) over and over again until you beat the level, smash your keyboard or uninstall the game and install something less annoying.
    - Very short single player campaign - it's all over in less than 5 hours.
    - Worth £5 tops - just like Sniper 1. ;)
    - Eagerly awaiting Sniper 3 to arrive... when it hits the bargain bin within a few weeks of mixed reviews... :)
