Manufacturer's Description

WW II was a theatre of war for many specialized combat units, working together to ensure an army's victory. Among them a unique role was played by hidden and deadly marksmen. Their ability to lay motionless waiting for the perfect shot together with their professional equipment allowed them to change the course of the history with one pull of a trigger.

Become a sharpshooter and take part in the turning points of the WW II. Eliminate the Nazi general, who came to support the Germans lying siege to Stalingrad. Make your way through areas occupied by the Third Reich to your unit. Aid the Alliance forces during their offensive on the Italian Peninsula to break the resistance of the retreating Wehrmacht forces.

Disappointing. 30 Jun 2008
Fun:
This is the second game from the same distributor that I have been very disappointed with, and I will not be buying anymore. The concept is a poor man's Sniper Elite, a game I found to be very good, with good graphics and gameplay. But this game, forget it, unless you are a young child just starting out.
At first it seems OK but as you get into it, you find you can become trapped in the game area boundries (which are ridiculously small), be this a pile of rubble you are not supposed to cross, or a line trees you cannot pass. I reached the the german sniper hunt(5th or 6th game), and having completed all the preliminaries, gave up because the sniper could not be found at all, and I could no longer procede with the game. I spent a long time trying, systematically searching the buildings where he was supposed to be hiding, but he hid so well I never caught sight of him and was therefore stuck. At this point I just uninstalled the game and gave up.
In general the graphics are poor for this day and age and the whole concept appears to have been produced on very small budget. It is intended for up to 16 year olds, but no gamer of 10 would be satisfied with this.
My advice, don't waste your money.

Very poor 19 Nov 2008
By Chris C
Fun:
Game play is poor - moving is awkward. Too many places are blocked where logically you would expect to go through i.e. instead of going through a large open window you have to politely go through a nearby door. Many items are solid which shouldn't be For example you can often not fire through the gap between railings - the gaps are solid! Enemy muzzle flashes are not visible when you look through the scope making it very difficult to see where fire is coming from. I bought it for about three pounds - if I'd paid more I would feel cheated

Do not buy 15 Dec 2008
Fun:
Terrible game, Graphics are so dated, this game looks as though it was made 6 years ago. Game play is very, very poor. I found the lack of free movement frustrating, why can't I jump through an open window? Don't waste your money on this game.

I was excited when I saw the cover, thinking it might be a follow up or at least in connection to "Sniper Elite". I was disappointed. Read more

Terrible Game
This game is shockingly bad - the gameplay is bad, the AI are terrible, the music is bad, and the story line is uninteresting. This game only gets 1 star for nice rifle sounds.

simple to play, but too basic by far
I just bought this yesterday and am already bored with it - the graphics are acceptable and it will run on a medium-level PC. It seems to have bits from other games in it. Read more

Good Overall Game
I found this to be a little like Medal Of Honour although the graphics are a little poorer which was probably indicated by the price of the game. Read more
