Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this chair as a replacement for a professional typist chair that had just given up the gaseous ghost and refused to stay at the right height.
I was trepidatious due to the cost being so low and was wondering how long it would last before I had to send it back.
It was a bit of a pain putting it together as one of the holes wasn't quite line up correctly and with a little gentle "persuasion" I managed to put it together. I'd advise not doing the man thing with this and reading the instructions before you start assembly. You'll see why if you don't. Minus one star for the time it took to put together...
Now the good news: it's a surprisingly well built chair at the price and it really is covered in leather. I have been using it now for over two weeks and the smoothness of the wheels and action on the chair are nothing compared to the simple comfort of having a proper chair to sit in.
At this price I wasn't expecting the fancy lumbar and rock/tilt functions that I had on the last chair so I wasn't surprised when there weren't any. Yep, up- and down is all you get if you don't read the instructions.
Now that I have read them, I find that it does have a release function built in to the same handle as the up/down release. Pull horizontally and a lock is released so you can lean back in the chair as well. Bonus feature as it even feels quite safe to do so!
I recommend this chair for the fact that it is very well priced and does exactly what you would expect a chair to do!

As it terns out not one of my better buys,a good price,easy to put together, looks ok but then i run out of nice things to say ! because after ten minets of sitting on i had to go and get a cushion to sit on because it became very hard on the bottom , mine not the seats,so if this is for long time sitting i should look for somthing with more padding .

Ok, the chair material has probably nothing to do with leather, but considering the price that was rather obvious.
