If you thought "Rhythm Is a Dancer" and "The Power" were the only hits to come from Snap! then think again, they may have been the ones to reach number one, but let’s not forget their nine top ten hits, four of them top five--the dance supergroup have sold an amazing 15 million albums and 25 million singles worldwide.

Included with this collection of their greatest hits is a bonus CD of brand new remixes. Feel this album hasn't got its dues having read the reviews so far. I was in my early teens when Snap were in their prime and had to pick up on their back catalogue but trust me, its a pretty decent Greatest Hits even allowing for the filler re-workings.

Best thing is that the hits are in their regular (edited) single versions- no messing about. 'Rhythm is a Dancer' and 'The Power' are the stone-cold classics, but other singles from that period such as 'Exerminate' (with the Peruvian flute-type samples) and the funky 'Oops Up!' don't disappoint either.

Of the remixes, there are one or two bizarre and pretty awful offerings- The Cult of SNAP! remix is particularly poor I thought- but others which veer into Ferry Corsten-type trance are decent (Rhythm is a Dancer 2003) and there is one amazing surprise- 'The Colour of Love', which is some sort of bastard stepchild of Youssou N'Dors '7 Seconds' and 'Unfinished Sympathy' - god knows what its doing on this album as it sounds nothing like anything else on it, but its genuinely brilliant all the same.

Overall this is a faithful and complete collection of Snap!, and if you've heard of them at all you definiely won't be wasting your money.
