5.0 out of 5 stars Snap! Another great book by Margaret Mayo! 28 Mar 2011
By Delia
Format:Paperback
Once again another great book by Margaret Mayo, bought this for my son's upcoming 4th birthday as he already loves the others we have - Choo Choo Clickety Clack, Emergency and Dig Dig Digging so I'm sure he'll really like this one. I couldn't wait so have already pre-read through this one and it's fab, great pictures/illustrations in vibrant colours, with some rhyming and repetition - just long enough to keep your little ones focus and looks like a great bedtime story! Would highly recommend to everyone! Next on the list ROAR :o)

Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
We have a few of this series of books I still think the dig dig digging is the best. But my 2.5 year old thinks its great and now knows all the animals the pictures are really good In general a good book and quick delivery also. We have just bought rocket so we will see how that goes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Overall I am delighted I bought it 17 April 2012
By Rebecca
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Bought this after my 2 year old loved "dig, dig, diggers" for months and we fancied a bit of variety to read to him so bought a selection of books by the same author/illustrator. The rhymes don't always flow quite as easily to read as they do in "dig dig diggers" but having read this book repeatedly we soon got the knack of them. I like that each page has a rhyme about a characteristic of a different sea creature so you can discuss the differences with your child. The illustrations are colourful and engaging and the pages with all the creatures on at the beginning and end are a great opportunity to discuss which one is your child's favourite and what they have learned about them. Overall I am delighted I bought it. It loses one star as my son doesn't love it quite as much as a couple of the other titles in the range, but he is quite obsessed by vehicles at the moment so I expect this would be a 5 star hit with a child who is more into animals!
