I was looking around for a recommendation on an RGB Scart cable for my Wii other than for the overpriced 'official' one which is £18. I was lucky and found this on Amazon for £4 and bought it with some other items so got free delivery. It was worth buying and is worth paying even £10 for.
The cable quality is good. For those of you who don't really understand the benefits of using an RGB connection let me explain. On MOST TV's there are scart connections, and at least one of these is prepared to receive a better signal than the standard (composite) one. This signal is RGB (Red, Green, Blue) which handles the colour seperately rather than as a mass or composite. I recommend you test an RGB Scart lead on your Wii over the standard one you receive with the machine. Check the clarity of the text on the news channel or the internet channel, it should be noticably better. We have Boogie which plays like a Karaoke game. I have always struggled with reading the lyrics to the songs, due the 'fuzzy text. With the new cable this problem has gone. As well as this you will notice sharper images with less blending between colours and detail.
I would recommed this lead. Its a good price and it works!
