This simple snail puppet is nicely made in a soft plush fabric with a little flap under the foot into which you can push your finger to make the snail move. You can only move the snail as if "walking", you cannot make his head or eyes move for example.
However it doesn't resemble a snail closely enough. Perhaps it should be made out of a less furry fabric, or the shell should be a rounder shape but it doesn't fool my snail mad three year old!

This product is great! He is really cute and funny to look at. I used him at school when we were looking at different puppets and how they are made before moving on to make our own finger puppets. It is good because of the way it fits on the top of your finger, the children could see that there is more than one way to make a finger puppet.
