The book arrived in good time and order.

The book itself is twice the size it needs to be, most of the recipies (one per page) fill half a page , there are no photos at all.

Why have a book that only uses half of the paper, I've got a better idea, half the size of the book, it would also make easier to handle .

Some nutritional info is included as well as calorie requirements for your weight/activity , each smoothie lists fat/protein/salt content etc

I've not tried any recipie yet, but they look like your usuall smoothie fodder that can be seen all over the net.

Would I recommend you buy this book .... well, why not, despite all the content being available via the net, I think most cyclists will find it useful .

Bon appetite 😋

great recipes and good advice on how to make them work for you

My only disappointment was the mention of the name of the worst cheat in cycling
Would I recommend this....Yes

Fun, quick, delicious AND delicious - what's not to like?! 27 Aug 2012

I have always had difficulty finding the time to eat as much as I should be eating to keep up with the demands of my cycling commute and weekend leisure cycling but the worst time for this was always in the mornings before work. These smoothies are well-thought out and taste great and importantly they only take a few minutes to prepare and so I can be out the door in no time flat. The only downside I can see is that because of the thick texture of smoothies in general I can't fill my water bottle with these and enjoy them during the ride! In all seriousness though, I'm pretty confident my next purchase will be the Juices for Cyclists book by the same author and I fully intend to fill my water bottle with those for the longer rides I do on weekends!

Supports changing needs and goals 21 Aug 2012

This book has pretty much everything you need to know about cycling nutrition, including the what's/why's/how's of eating to perform and compete but it doesn't stop there. Whilst I can see it is beneficial for experienced cyclists I believe it would be of great benefit to beginners too. I think a lot of people get into cycling as a means to lose weight and this book covers that aspect too. In fact I would say that whether you're just starting out and looking to shed some pound or if, like me you're looking find a quick and easy method to get your nutrition handled and improve your overall performance then this book is a great addition to your kindle bookshelf.

I drink smoothies at least daily, and I'm a serious cyclist. This book helps me understand cycling nutrition, and provides a bunch of simple smoothie recipes and ideas that I plan on using regularly. Great book.

Thought this book had recipes - it doesn't. Just explains nutrients for vegetables and fruits, when to eat/drink, i.e. before after exercise.
