I was traveling through the Smoky Mountain on business, and stopped in Gatlinburg at the new moonshine shop. The folks were friendly and told some tales about the area. One clerk showed me a book about people who disappeared in the mountains, and told me I could buy a copy at the Smoky Mountains National Park Visitor Center, but I did not have time to go there. So I found it on line, and liked it so much I wanted to know more, so I checked for books by the same author, Juanitta Baldwin.
I found this one, and it is very entertaining. The tales about moonshiners, and old codgers who had two funerals were a hoot. A good read - nice break from blood, guts and too much sex.
