Having read the first review I was worried as I had bought it for my sons Xmas and had visions of spending hours trying to make it on Xmas Eve. In reality it took about 45 minutes and I thought the instructions were ok, certainly no worse than other items I've tried to assemble. Its sturdy enough too and I cant see anything particularly wrong with it for the price. It is however very long with the trailer attached so you need a good sized garden to get much use of it.

This toy is nearly impossible to build. The parts are weak. The instructions so small and complicated the weren't worth including. In the end we couldn't put this tractor together despite calling in the help of a friend who is an engineer. Don't waste your money

OK, it takes some time to put it together, but once it's up it's no problem. Great value.
