4.0 out of 5 stars Liar cheater bogey eater..., 23 Feb 2006
"Smell" is a heavy track, very well done with some good riffs. Musically, the world is not going to change on the release of this record. Its still pretty good though. All you kids 'digging' Green Day 'cos you liked American Idiot' will probably like it. Give it a go, its worth £4. And what else can you buy for that paltry amount?

I've no idea what its about. The song that is. At one point the guy sings of Winnie 'who's face was fat but her legs were skinny'. That makes me laugh, as does what sounds like a random impression of Twiki the Robot from Buck Rogers towards the end.

I think Engerica supported 'Sum 41' on their last UK tour. I'm not saying that was a good or bad thing, or even that you should use this information on which to base your decision to buy this record or not. Its just information. At best, it kind of describes the genre to which Engerica belong, in as much as they play guitars. Except the drummer, who doesn't. At least not in any professional capacity.

Please print this Amazon, I've put heart and soul into it and I tried not to be too offensive. I've even deleted a whole paragraph on what else the kids could do with their £4. Because it wasn't appropriate. I hate it when I make an effort to tell people what I think of a record and you refuse to put my considered opinion on the website just because I was a bit rude in places.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smells good!, 3 Mar 2006

What can I say, this song rules!! It's the type of song that doesn't have to grow on you in my opinion, it just happens! The singer David Gardner has a very distinctive, unique voice. This song isn't your usual old 'screamo emo', it has rhythm, it has style! I reckon these can go far! Buy the song, you won't be disappointed.
